Sports Slaves???

Lauren Brown · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Oh God, I forgot about the time he asked April Ryan if she could organize a Black Caucus meeting. Cringe. The list is so long, a lot of these things slip through the cracks. Never thought I'd hate anyone this much or be embarrassed by anyone this much.

F Tremblay · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Thurston keep on talking we need good people like you.

ch7432 · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

If we had crackpots that push the birther movement the same way with wanting to see his taxes, we would be a lot less divided.

Roland Lytle · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Things are getting better, but still have a long way to go. I have been fighting the racism in America since the mid-70s. Things have greatly improved since then, but it seems my generation needs to die off before equality has a real chance. Most people in my generation (I am 59) are great people, but enough are still caught in ignorance and bigotry that more progress will be too slow. In twenty years or so, most of us will be gone and hopefully things will be much better. There will always be bigotry, but I believe in the next few generations to step up and make us all proud. Happy New Years to all! Make 2018 a great year. 2017 has been a year of hatred and bigotry. I like to call 2017 the year of the orangutan.

Shirley Bertrand · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Anyone else tired of the lefts race baiting, identity politics, and racially partisan politics?

All hail the Mango Mussolini Twitler. Note he is interviewed 7 years ago in the same black, red and white "I'm not a Nazi" uniform. Obviously, he considers himself 'timeless'. Yer old Donnie, the grim reaper awaits.

Cadmus · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

She is ready to sell a book. Money talks and Omarosa walks.

Lorry Bee · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

What a relief to read so many good comments of so many reasonable people here!

Rafael Delgadillo · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Mr. Thurston said he won't enable someone who undermines democracy not "Dem." You should change the wording of this title as it is misleading.

angeleyes green · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Every time I see Omarosa, I hear Robin Roberts saying, "Bye, Felicia."
Best moment ever. Lol

Shari Mclaughlin · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Assemble performer regime rest contract contractor never assistant accident brick.

Paul Silva · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

LOL – Still pushing lies. Anyone who doesn’t agree with the Liberal Dems becomes an outcast in the eyes of these people. MSNBC reminds me of the brown shirts ideology. Akin of the movement that preceded the Nazi party success in Germany.

Elio Lopez · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Omarosa is just like the jews who supported Hitler. They got what they voted for and so will she. She's not black, she's not a woman, and most importantly, she's not an American. The best way to treat her is to pretend she never existed.

Elio Lopez · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Chump and his supporters are NOT American patriots. They are divisive racists who only want to clean the country's coffers with the help of every racist, bible thumping, gun toting, barely-made-it-through-the-third-grade, unwashed, toothless, pedophile, inbred redneck.

Johnnie E. · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

A president who see owning a slave as not a bad thing, america is toast! Useless set of people

John C · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Baratunde Thurston re: Omarosa, (hand to forehead) "Do we have to?!"  …Perfect!

Luther Illustrates Finding Forgiveness and Salvation GrH_c 26
A desire to find peace with God led Martin Luther to devote himself to a monastic life. Here he was required to perform the lowest drudgery and to beg from house to house. He patiently endured this humiliation, believing it necessary because of his sins. GrH_c 26.3
He led a most rigorous life, endeavoring by fasting, vigils, and scourgings to subdue the evils of his nature. He afterward said, “If ever monk could obtain heaven by his monkish works, I should certainly have been entitled to it…. If it had continued much longer, I should have carried my mortifications even to death.”. With all his efforts, his burdened soul found no relief. He was at last driven to the verge of despair. GrH_c 26.4
When it appeared that all was lost, God raised up a friend for him. Staupitz opened the Word of God to Luther's mind and bade him look away from self and look to Jesus. “Instead of torturing yourself on account of your sins, throw yourself into the Redeemer's arms. Trust in Him, in the righteousness of His life, in the atonement of His death…. The Son of God … became man to give you the assurance of divine favor…. Love Him who first loved you.”J. H. Merle D'Aubigne, History of the Reformation of the Sixteenth Century, bk. 2, ch. 4. His words made a deep impression on Luther's mind. Peace came to his troubled soul. GrH_c 26.5
Later, Luther's voice was heard from the pulpit in solemn warning. He set before the people the offensive character of sin and taught that it is impossible for man by his own works to lessen its guilt or evade its punishment. Nothing but repentance toward God and faith in Christ can save the sinner. The grace of Christ cannot be purchased; it is a free gift. He counseled the people not to buy indulgences, but to look in faith to a crucified Redeemer. He related his own painful experience and assured his hearers that it was by believing in Christ that he found peace and joy. GrH_c 26.6

F*cking lying black race-baiter.
Step right up, NBC will give u credibility.

FacheChanteDeux · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

He never should have been president. The R.N.C. should be held legally accountable for this entire disgraceful maelstrom.

FacheChanteDeux · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

I love you Ari Melber! Belated Happy Hanukkah to Ari & Happy 2018 to everybody at MSNBC. Keep up the good work, keep repeating the facts.

craig middleton · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

What a smart, bright, and cool man. Let's not "enable" those…Cheers Thurston.

Colonel Angus · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

It's ok to be white.

Nathaniel Anderson · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

I am a 52 year old white man, and I am appalled by the racism of Donald Trump and his movement. He is destroying our country. Injustice for one man, is an injustice to all of us. Barack Obama was the greatest president we have ever had. And Donald Trump is trying to undo everything he ever did, just so he can say that he did it better. He is a pathetic excuse for a white man. He should be ashamed of himself.

Xr8dACE420 · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

trumps OBVIOUS Racism is DISGUSTING… But, unfortunately it was completely EXPECTED. A vote for trump, was a vote for a Ignorant, Racist!

M M · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

I turn the sound down anytime they replay clips of this monster. This is not normal! We need to not become accustomed to it. We need to not discuss whether or not he is racist. Or sexist. Or a liar. He is. We need to focus on WHAT we can do

T Mc · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

I have been concerned with the amount of tunnel vision the American people have demonstrated over the past year and a half. As a country we can no longer express disapproval of the increase repeal of legislation to increase pollution to make more money, repeal of protections for the disabled and human rights without loud and divisive comments. This administration is not good for our country as a whole, when you replace heads of departments with people who have said they want to dismantle that department. Wealthy corporate people who want to end the protections that have helped us to keep big corporations from bilking us, end the EPA, put in place a tax bill that makes us more in debt and gives a trillion dollars to those that have billions of dollars. How is this not visible to all?

lyni50 · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

“Big empty barrel”!!!! Perfect 👌

Christopher · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Today's Liberal Dixiecrat party is a lot like the movie "Thelma & Louise". They had a chance to rebuild their shattered, racist Democratic party after the 2016 election loss, but instead decided to drive it off the cliff of violent, racist identity politics..

Little Mac · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Amazing watch and analysis.

Will Storm · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

Well said if trumps compete they gotta cheat!

Hal Jordan · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

1. Spread lies about the first black president.

2. Refused to initially condemn the KKK and David Duke, claiming no knowledge about them, despite condemning them years previously.

3. Said that 'both sides' were at fault in Charlottesville, even when it was the Neo Nazis that invaded the town, when it was the Neo Nazis that crippled and killed people, and when it was the Neo Nazis that laughed about killing and hurting the people.

4. Said that the Neo Nazi/KKK side of the Charlottesville chaos had some 'very nice' people

5. Said that the Confederate Monuments were 'beautiful', and were a part of our history, even though Confederates were traitors that killed more Americans than any other enemy.

6. Applauded police violence, and encouraged it on a stage, while talking to police officers.

7. Attacked NFL Football players, for peacefully protesting against police violence.

8. Said that Haitians all had AIDS, and that Nigerians lived in huts, even though Nigerian Immigrants are the most educated group in the US per capita.

Rose Johnson-Tsosie · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

The projection of demographics are that Women will be the dominate group. People of color (black, latino, native) will be the dominate race. Women of Color are the Queens of the US.

Rose Johnson-Tsosie · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

When people go through a break up without doing a bit of introspection they will generally start dating the exact same personality. As a country we have several issues that we as a people have not examined and it seems that all those issues have cycled together with this presidency. We are dealing with unresolved issues from slavery, our treatment of the Native Americans who were here first and the immigrant status of ALL of the rest of us. How women are treated. And it seems the legitimacy of the wealthy white Europeans who took charge of our government in 1776. Seems time has caught up with everybody.

Moy O · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am

notice how this hack never gave a policy that supported his umm 'observations'.

Vibrant Hues · December 31, 2017 at 6:16 am
